Breaking the glass ceiling: Strides in women-leader emergence

Hitherto the 21st century, it appeared leadership was the preserve of men. Now women are making great strides in the realm of leadership. This has resulted in women attaining leadership positions in industry and commerce, politics, religion and small businesses. This work looks at barriers that have been and that continue to stifle progress towards women-leader emergence and empowerment. It also looks at how women are breaking these barriers to make a name for themselves against heavy odds. Although the pains are high and the progress rather slow, the gains with each step are tremendous.

Samson Mutsagondo works in an information management environment. He has authored five other books namely Customer Care and Customer Satisfaction, Unmasking Sexual Harassment in the Workplace, Labour Mobilization and Exploitation in Tea Estates, Records and Information Management Surveys and The Ideal Registry. He holds a BA Hons and an MBA.
